Crochet Snowflake Decoration

                     Snowflake decoration

Hello everybody, I am sharing with you a pattern of a snowflakes. I made  this using chunky weight yarn and 5.5 mm crochet hook.its big enough to hand it on the wall as you can see in the picture.you can make it in the smaller size by using a thin yarn and smaller hook size.

To make this snowflake you need

chunky weight yarn

5.5 mm crochet hook

scissors

pattern:

chain 9, slip stitch in the first chain to form a ring.

Round 1:

chain 8, 3 double crochet into the ring, chain 5 , 3 double crochet, chain 5,3 double crochet

(repeat highlighted step 3 times).chain 5,2 double crochet in the ring.slip stitch in the 3rd chain at the beginning of round.(see video at the end for help)

round 2:

     slip stitch in next 2 chain, chain 7,4 double crochet in chain space , (chain 1,skip  next 3 dc,(4dc, ch 4 ,4 dc )in next chain space,) ,repeat, Ch 1, skip next 3 dc,3dc in chain space,slip stitch in chain 3(3^rd chain from the 7 chain that we made at the start of round)

Round 3:

 1 slip stitch in next 2 chain,6 chain,3 double crochet in chain space,( chain 3, skip (4double crochet,chain 1 ,4double crochet)  now 3 double crochet,chain 3,3double crochet in next chain space). reapeat, chain 3 ,2 dc in chain space,slip stich on top on chain 3(3^rd chain from the 6 chains that we made at the start of round)

Round 4:

     slip stitch in next 2 chain, chain 8, slip stitch in the 4^th ch from hook, chain 1 ,2 double crochet in chain space,( chain 5, 1 single crochet in next chain space , chain 5 ,2 double crochet, chain 5 ,slip stitch in 4th chain from hook, 2 double crochet in chain space ).repeat.1 double Crochet ,slip stitch on in the 3^rd chain(3^rd chain from the 8 chain that we made at the start of round)
