angry bird baby booties

Hi everyone, I am going to share with you a cute pattern for baby booties.
I made these booties by inspiring angry birds game.and I loved how it came out.
this pattern is for newborn but it stretches so will fit about 0-3 month old.i made booties with dk(double knitting)yarn in red color using 3.5mm crochet hook and I have used 3mm crochet hook for making eyes, beak,tail,brows etc.i made French knot in centre of eyes.

Angry Bird (RED) Crochet baby bootie pattern:

materials:
Red color yarn (double knitting) 100% Acrylic

Yellow color yarn (double knitting) 100 % Acrylic

Black color yarn (double knitting) 100 % Acrylic

White color Yarn (double knitting) 100% Acrylic

A yarn needle

3.5 mm crochet hook.

3 mm crochet hook.

Scissors.

Stitch marker.

Size

Newborn:

 Stitches used and Abbreviations:

Chain (ch)

Single crochet (sc)

Half double crochet (hdc)

Double crochet (dc)

Double crochet 2 together (dc2tog)

Slip stitch (ss).

Special terms used:

Double crochet two together (dc2tog):

Yarn over the hook, go in next stitch pull a loop, yarn over the hook and

pull through two loops only, yarn over the hook again, go in next stitch

and pull a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops only, yarn over and

pull through all the loops on your hook.

Single crochet Backwards (Reverse):

It is simple single crochet but we are not working forwards we have to

work backwards, we have to keep working in previous stiches until we

reach at our first stitch.

Newborn

Using 3.5 mm crochet hook:

Make 2:

Sole:

With Red color chain 10.

Round 1:

1 sc in the 2^nd Stitch from hook,1 sc in next 7 stitches,5 sc in last stitch,1

sc in next 8 stitches on the other side of row, ss in first chain.

(21) Total stitches

Round 2:

Ch1, 1 sc in next 8 stitches,2 hdc in next 5 stitches,1 sc in next 8

stitches. ss in chain 1.(26)stitces

Round 3:

Ch1, 1 sc in next 8 stitches,1hdc in next 2 stitches,2 dc in next 6

stitches, 1hdc in next 2 stitches,1 sc in next 8 stitches, ss in ch1.

(32) stiches

Upper shoe:

Round 4:

Ch 1,1 sc in back loop of each stitch across. (32) stitches

Round 5:

Ch 1, 1 sc in each stitch across.

Round 6-:

Ch2,1 hdc in each stitch across for 1 rounds. (32)

Round 7:

Ch 2,1 hdc in next 8 stitches, dc2tog 8 times (8dc clusters),1 hdc in

next 8 stitches. Slip stitch in ch 2 space. 24 stitches.

Round 8:

ch 2,1 hdc in next 8 stitches, dc2tog 4 times

(4 dc clusters),1 hdc for next 8 stiches, ss in ch 2.(20)

Cuff part:

Round 9:

Ch 1,1sc in each stitch across . ss in ch 1(20).

Round 10:

Ch 2 ,1 hdc in each stitch across.ss in ch 2(20)

Round 11:

Ch 2 ,1 hdc in each stitch across.ss in ch 2(20)

Edging:

Ch 1,1 sc in the previous stitch and keep working 1 sc in backward

Direction until you reach where you have started from,ss in ch 1.

Finish it off.

Eyes:

Make 2

With white color chain 2.

Work 6 single crochet in the back loop of last chain from hook.

(2^nd chain).

Slip stitch in first sc. fasten off.

You can make a French knot with black yarn in the center of eye with

black yarn before placing on shoe.

Beak:

With color yellow chain 2:

Round 1:

Work 6 single crochet in the back loop of last chain from hook.

(2^nd chain).

Round 2:

1 sc in every stitch around (6)

Round 3:

2 sc in each stitch around(12),slip stitch in next stitch and finish off.

Eyebrows:

With black color yarn chain 5.

1 sc in  2^nd chain from hook and 1 sc in next 3 chain (4).

Tail:

With black color yarn chain 10.

1 sc in 2^nd chain from hook and in next 8 stitches (9).
