This Pattern is for a newborn to 3 year old.
Size detail:
Newborn:
0-3 months:
6 months:
1-3 year:

Material.
1 ball Baby care 100% Premium Acrylic by Woolcraft Shade (603) (100g).
Hook size 4.5mm.

Special term used:
Chain=ch
Stitch=st
Half Double Crochet= HDC
Front Post Triple Crochet=FPTC
Back Post Triple Crochet=BPTC
Single Crochet=SC

Note: count chain 2 at start of each round as half double crochet.

For all sizes ch 3.

Newborn

Round 1: 
7 HDC in the third ch from hook. Slip st in the chain 3 (8 st including chain 2).
Round2: 
ch2 , 1 HDC in the same stich as chain 2,2  in next stitch and  each stitch around. Slip st in the in the top of ch 2 (16 st).
Round3:
ch 2, 1HDC in the same stitch as chain 2, *(1 HDC in next st, 2 HDC in next st, 1 in next st) *
repeat from * to*   in all st around. Slip st in the in the top of ch 2 (24 st).
Round4:
ch 2, 1 hdc in same stitch*(1HDC in the next st, 1 HDC in next,2HDC in next)*,
repeat  from *to*  in all st around. Slip st in the top of ch 2 (32 st).
Round5:
ch 2,  1hdc in same stitch*(1HDC in the next st, 1 HDC in next, 1 HDC in next, 2 in Next )*
repeat  from* to *  in all st around. Slip st in the top of ch 2 (40 st).
Round (6):
Ch 2, 1 HDC in each st around. Slip st in top of ch 2 (40 st).
Round 7-11:
Repeat round 6 for 5 rounds.
Round 12:
ch 5, 1 FPTC in next st, 1 BPTC in next st, repeat this around, slip st at top of ch 5(40 st).
Round 13:
ch 1, 1 sc in ach st around. Slip st in the ch 1 and finish off.

0-3 months
Round 1:

repeat from*to* in all st around. Slip st in the top of ch 2 (48 st).
Round 7:
Ch 2, 1 HDC in each st around. Slip st in top of ch 2 (48 st).
Round 8-12:
Repeat round 7 for 5 rounds.
Round 13:
ch 5, 1 FPTC in next st, 1 BPTC in next st, repeat this around, slip st at top of ch 5 (48 st).
Round 14:
ch 1, 1 sc in ach st around, slip st in the ch 1 and finish off.


6 months

Round 1:

  5. Tysm for this pattern...i made one with caron baby cakes long variegated leftover yarn i had...top of hat is royal blue then middle stripe red and border edge is orange with red speckles..made a very small pompom with the leftover orange...looks pretty...
