The Pattern

Foundation: Chain 3.

Row 1: Work 3dc, ch 2, 3dc into the 3rd chain from the hook. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as 1st stitch). Work 2dc into the very first stitch (base of the ch-2). In the center ch-2 space, work 3dc, ch 2, 3dc. Work 3dc into the top of the last stitch. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 2 (counts as 1st stitch). Work 2dc into the first stitch. Work 3dc into each space between the previous row's granny clusters until you reach the center. In the center ch-2 space, work 3dc, ch 2, 3dc. Continue working 3dc into each space across the other side. Work 3dc into the top of the last stitch. Turn.

Rows 4–10: Repeat instructions for Row 3. Each row will naturally grow your triangle wider.

Finishing (The Straps):

Once you finish Row 10 (or your desired size), do not cut the yarn. Chain 50 to create your first strap. Fasten off and pull the yarn through to secure.

To create the second strap, attach a new piece of yarn to the other top corner (the first stitch of your final row). Chain 50. Fasten off and secure.

Weave in all your loose ends with your tapestry needle, and your bandana is ready to wear!
